Per Widerström steps down from Catena Media board of directors

Stockholm-listed online gaming affiliate Catena Media has confirmed that Per Widerström has stepped down from the company’s board of directors as he prepares to join 888 Holdings as CEO.
Widerström was elected to the board in May 2019, but now steps down as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
He will take over as 888’s new CEO on 16 October.
“Per's extensive experience and in-depth industry knowledge have greatly benefited the board's work and the strategic direction of Catena Media,” said Catena Media chairman Göran Blomberg. “On behalf of all stakeholders, we express gratitude for his contributions and wish him every success in his new role.”
Catena Media’s board will continue with six members until the company’s 2024 annual general meeting.
Shares in Catena Media plc (STO:CTM) were trading 2.83 per cent lower at SEK23.36 per share in Stockholm Monday morning.
