Flutter Entertainment has opened a new technology centre in Hyderabad, India, as part of a $3.5 million investment in the region.
The new Global Capability Centre is at the heart of the state of Telangana and spans more than 80,000 sq ft.
The new hub will house more than 700 staff in data engineering, game integrity services, HR, procurement, safety and security, and customer operations.
Flutter is also conducting a recruitment drive to increase the number of employees at the hub to 900 by the end of the year, with a focus on data analytics and engineering positions.
The company is also targeting a 40 per cent female leadership team at the centre by 2026.
The centre is based in one of India’s leading tech parks, the RMZ Spire, which is also home to Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Siemens.
“Our expansion in India marks a huge milestone in Flutter’s growth and shows our continued commitment to investing in top talent to drive business growth globally,” said Flutter chief operating officer Phil Bishop.
“With centres of excellence for Data Engineering, Game Integrity Services, Customer and HR Operations, Procurement and Finance, and through the power of the Flutter Edge, the Hyderabad Global Capability Centre is designed to foster creativity and growth and strengthens our presence in the Indian employment and skills market.”

Shares in Flutter Entertainment plc. (NYSE:FLTR) closed 1.73 per cent lower at $204.85 per share in New York Tuesday and were up 0.80 per cent at $206.49 per share in after hours.
