The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is stepping up its fight against unlicensed online gambling websites by blocking access to Australian consumers.
The authority has already forced more than 65 illegal operators to withdraw from the Australian market since 2017 when it started enforcing new illegal offshore gambling rules, including 36 websites in the first quarter of this year that were reported to family-friendly filter providers.
