Lottoland Deutschland has been granted licence approval to launch its online lottery brokerage business in Germany.

The new licence enables Lottoland to distribute state-licensed lotteries in Germany online as a broker under its Lottoland-deutschland.de and Lottohelden-deutschland.de domains.

“We are delighted that our license application has finally been approved by the Joint Gaming Authority of the German federal states after intensive examination by the federal states,” said Lottoland Deutschland managing director Magnus von Zitzewitz.

According to the “whitelist” of the Joint Gambling Authority of the German federal states (GGL), Lottoland is the latest company to be approved for lottery brokerage, alongside the likes of Lotto24, Faber Lotto, Lottobay, Next Lotto and Tipland.

Lottoland has also applied for licences to operate sports betting and online slots in the country, which are expected to be granted in the near future.
