International Game Technology (IGT) has agreed a 10-year extension to its contract with the North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL).
The contract extension runs from July 2027 to June 2037 and will see IGT deploy its Aurora central system and upgraded Wizard back-office applications with the NCEL.
IGT will also roll out up to 8,500 Retailer Pro S2 terminals, 500 GameTouch 28 self-service vending machines, and 2,000 lottery play centres as part of the contract.

“IGT’s future-forward technology will provide the systems and equipment needed for the NCEL to work effectively and efficiently for its players, its retail partners, and the good causes it serves.”

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYSE:IGT) closed 0.82 per cent higher at $20.78 per share in New York Friday.
