The new iLottery program offers access to draw games and eInstants, with proceeds supporting early childhood education
The Massachusetts Lottery made its online debut on Monday, giving players access to a range of instant and draw-based games via the Mass Lottery app and website.
The new Aristocrat Interactive-powered iLottery program includes responsible gambling features such as deposit and play limits, pop-up responsible gambling messaging, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion options, with the use of credit cards prohibited.
Profits generated from online sales will be returned to the Commonwealth to fund a grant program to support early childhood education and care.
“The launch of our online platform marks an exciting new chapter for the Lottery as we continue to evolve and meet the needs of today’s players,” said state treasurer Deborah Goldberg, chair of the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission. “Online lottery will allow us to compete on a more level playing field in the state’s gaming marketplace and sales will help make childcare more affordable for families across Massachusetts.”
Alongside the opportunity to participate in popular lottery draw games such as Mass Cash, Megabucks, Mega Millions, and Powerball, the new platform offers more than 20 eInstant games at launch, with additional eInstant games expected to be released every two weeks.
The Lottery also plans to add virtual horse racing games later this year.
Mark William Bracken, executive director of the Mass Lottery, commented: “Since selling our first ticket in 1972, the Mass Lottery has become one of the top performing lotteries in the world thanks to our exciting portfolio of games, attractive prize payouts, innovative business and marketing strategies, and of course, our dedicated retail partners and loyal player base.
“In creating Mass Lottery Online, we took a similar approach that gives our players new play experiences with the same standards they have grown to expect, wherever in Massachusetts they find themselves to be.”
Some of the Lottery’s games will continue to only be available in retail, including Keno, The Numbers Game, and The Wheel of Luck.
Online games will be available to players over the age of 21 who are physically located in Massachusetts.

Aristocrat Interactive was awarded the iLottery contract in August 2025 following a competitive procurement process.
Shares in Aristocrat Interactive parent Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. (ASX:ALL) gained 2.89 per cent to close at A$63.79 per share in Sydney Tuesday.
