Hong Kong-listed lottery supplier AGTech Holdings will explore the application of blockchain technology in the lottery industry on behalf of China’s Welfare Lottery.
The Welfare Lottery awarded the contract to an AGTech subsidiary to research and develop a new electronic lottery draw platform based on blockchain smart contract technology, which has been developed by parent company Ant Financial Group.
