ALOT Solutions bolsters senior management team

Gibraltar-based B2B lottery betting provider ALOT Solutions has bolstered its senior management team with two key appointments.

Marek Mahdal has been named chief operations officer (COO), while Markus Stricker has been appointed chief risk officer (CRO) of the Lottoland subsidiary.

Mahdal brings with him over 20 years of  experience in the technology, e-commerce, financial services and lottery sectors, and joins ALOT from blockchain consultancy firm Rockchain, which he co-founded in 2017.

Prior to that, he was managing director of lottery betting operator Kootac and CEO of SaaS bookkeeping firm SuperFaktura.

As COO, he will be responsible for ALOT Solution’s business operations, ensuring reporting procedures are in place, and all systems can scale with the company’s partners’ requirements.

Newly appointed chief risk officer Markus Stricker brings over 20 years’ experience from the insurance industry to ALOT Solutions, including four years at Zurich-based insurance firm Twelve Capital, where he served as CRO before being appointed CEO and head of analytics in January 2015.

Most recently he served as CRO of Malta-licensed lottery betting operator Jackpot.com, while he was also a senior lecturer of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

In his new role at ALOT Solutions, Stricker will be responsible for creating re/insurance solutions for technology based businesses, and overseeing the supplier’s risk and prize cover facilities.
