New York-listed supplier Scientific Games has secured a one-year contract extension to continue serving as the Missouri Lottery’s primary instant game provider.
With its existing contract extended by one additional year, Scientific Games will continue to produce the lottery’s Scratchers games through to 30 June 2021, having served as the lottery’s primary instant games provider since 2011 and as a supplier since 1986.
Scientific Games currently creates and manufactures 90 per cent of the Missouri Lottery’s Scratchers, helping to grow retail sales by 30 per cent in the past nine years.
“As the primary Scratchers supplier to the Missouri Lottery, we look forward to continuing our good work together,” said Scientific Games senior VP instant products John Schulz. “Our teams work hand-in-hand with the lottery’s teams so we are fully aligned on business objectives and can stay one step ahead of market demand for the highest performing games that entertain Missourians.”
Missouri Lottery executive director May Scheve Reardon commented: “We are confident that the extension of our primary instant games contract with Scientific Games sets the Missouri Lottery on a continued trajectory of responsible growth to maximize our returns to public education.”
