Genius Sports partners KingMakers in Nigeria

Sports data technology provider Genius Sports has agreed a deal to provide a range of in-play trading services to KingMakers’ BetKing sportsbook brand in Nigeria.

The deal sees Genius provide BetKing with its live betting product across sports such as football, tennis and basketball, alongside its trading services, which include modelled odds feeds for major football competitions.

“We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Genius Sports,” said Kingmakers trading director Tim Smeets. “Their trusted trading solutions, including low-latency in-play content on crucial football leagues like the Premier League, will enable us to offer market-leading betting experiences for BetKing users in Nigeria.”

Shares in Genius Sports Ltd (NYSE:GENI) closed unchanged at $5.60 per share in New York Thursday.
