Scout Gaming Group pens B2B deal with Sunbet

Scout Gaming Group has signed a B2B agreement with African operator Sunbet, a subsidiary of publicly listed Sun International Group.

The deal will see Scout provide multiple fantasy and sports betting products to the operator, with the product expected to go live in the third quarter of this year.

Scout Gaming will also provide Sunbet with its user acquisition and retention tools for deployment across multiple Sunbet properties.

The contract contains a fixed and variable component based on player activity, resulting in an estimated contract of “substantial value” to the company.

“We’re delighted to welcome such an illustrious partner, with such a robust presence in Africa, and are looking forward to helping Sunbet achieve its strategic objectives,” said Araz Heydariyehzadeh, chief commercial officer at Scout Gaming Group.

“We are extremely confident that Scout’s significant experience working with top-tier operators like Sunbet will help us deliver products to Sunbet that will make a material impact on the KPIs of the business, and look very much forward to measuring the performance by working closely with our new partner.”

Shares in Scout Gaming Group AB (STO:SCOUT) were unchanged at SEK0.30 per share in Stockholm Friday morning.
