International Game Technology (IGT) will modernise the hardware and software powering the Tennessee Education Lottery under a new contract extension.
The nine-year contract extension will see IGT roll out its Aurora retail central system technology and upgraded software to the Tennessee Education Lottery, with the contract extension beginning in June 2027 and running through June 2036.
“For more than 20 years, IGT has been a trusted partner to the Tennessee Education Lottery, providing innovative solutions that have supported our consistent growth,” said Rebecca Paul, CEO of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation.
“One of our core missions is supporting educational programs in Tennessee, and since our inception, we have raised more than $7.5 billion for our state. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with IGT, whose advanced technology will assist in responsibly increasing both.”

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYSE:IGT) gained 2.88 per cent to close at $17.13 per share in New York Thursday.
