Deal further expands Fennica’s footprint in regulated European markets

Veikkaus-owned Fennica Gaming has launched its portfolio of eInstant lottery games in the Czech Republic with Allwyn (formerly Sazka).

Marking another step in Fennica’s international growth strategy, Czech players now have access to a range of mobile-optimized eInstant games via the lottery’s FunPark platform.

“We are excited to introduce Fennica Gaming’s games on our new groundbreaking gamified eInstant platform called FunPark,” said Viktor Pecha, head of eInstant at Allwyn Czech Republic. “We have developed a completely new way to offer eInstants for our players and we have studied the preferences carefully.

“Also, during our preparations and visit to Fennica Gaming in Finland, we gathered many inspiring ideas on how to further enhance our offering on this new platform. The mutual innovation session gave us a real reason to ring Fennica’s famous Bell of Success at their workplace restaurant.”

Joni Hovi, Fennica Gaming’s senior vice president of customers and marketing, commented: “We truly enjoy working with innovative partners like Allwyn. Their vision and player-first approach, supported by thorough customer surveys and research, are benchmarks to share across our network of customers – or Friends, as we like to call them.

“The launch of our games for Czech players underlines our commitment to delivering entertaining, secure, and responsible gaming experiences in regulated markets throughout Europe.”

Fennica Gaming SVP of portfolio and product development Kirsi Lagus added: “The integration and localization processes ran smoothly thanks to our and Allwyn’s professionals, and we’re now thrilled to bring our proven game concepts to Czech players.

“Allwyn’s online platform is perfect home for our portfolio, known for its distinctive Nordic design, innovation, high entertainment value, and strong performance across multiple jurisdictions. We look forward to seeing how Czech players embrace ‘Northern Jack,’ or ‘Severan Jack’ as he’s known in Czech Republic.”
