Another record quarter for US iGaming revenue
The first quarter of 2026 was another record-breaking one for US iGaming revenue, which was up by 19 per cent to $2.78 billion.
The month of March set a new monthly high too, with total iGaming revenue of $977.4 million and up by 16 per cent on March 2025.
Michigan had a state record of $322.1 million in iGaming revenue for March and was the market leader.
Smaller iGaming states Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island also had their best months for iGaming revenue.
Annual iGaming revenue could top $12 billion in 2026, if the World Cup helps to boost revenue during the summer months.

Ontario
Wagering on iGaming in Ontario grew by 21 per cent in March to a monthly record of CA$9.59 billion, generating revenue of CA$387.0 million, which was up by 31 per cent year-on-year. Online casino revenue rose by 33 per cent to CA$318.5 million, sports betting revenue grew by 29 per cent to CA$61.6 million, and online poker revenue climbed 5 per cent to CA$6.9 million.
Maryland
South of the border, Maryland’s six land-based casinos earned a 6 per cent rise in revenue for April to $172.2 million. Gaming table revenue increased by 20 per cent to $56.6 million, while revenue from slot machines was unchanged year-on-year at $115.5 million. Market leader MGM National Harbor recorded an 8 per cent rise in revenue to $73.9 million, while Live! Casino had a 7 per cent increase to $63.6 million.
Montana
The Montana Lottery reported an 18 per cent decline in sports wagers for April to $5.1 million. Revenue from sports betting also fell during the month and was down by 16 per cent to $636,755. Basketball was the main sport for wagering at $2.1 million, followed by baseball on $1.7 million.
Kentucky
Back into March, sports wagers in Kentucky rose by 3 per cent to $300.7 million, while an improved margin drove a 45 per cent increase in adjusted gross revenue to $28.2 million. The online betting sector had a 3 per cent increase in wagers to $294.5 million but retail wagers fell by 25 per cent to $6.2 million.
Missouri
In the fourth month of the state’s regulated sports betting market, Missouri’s sportsbooks collected wagers of $329.4 million in March, giving the state quarterly handle of almost $1 billion. Mobile generated betting wagers of $324.1 million and retail betting reached $5.3 million.
Virginia
Wagering at Virginia’s sportsbooks fell by 2 per cent in March to $672.8 million, with mobile sports betting down by 2 per cent to $666.4 million and retail betting down by the same percentage to $6.4 million. The monthly margin improved cent to 9.5 per cent, taking gross win for the month up 26 per cent to $63.8 million.

DraftKings
DraftKings reported a 17 per cent increase in revenue to $1.65 billion for the first quarter of 2026, driven by strong growth from its core sportsbook offering.
Wynn Resorts
Wynn Resorts posted a 9 per cent increase in first quarter revenue to $1.86 billion, helping net income grow by 58 per cent.
Inspired Entertainment
Inspired Entertainment recorded a 5 per cent drop in revenue in the first quarter to $57.2 million, including strong revenue growth of 38 per cent in the Interactive segment to $16.7 million.
Flutter Entertainment
Flutter Entertainment reported a 17 per cent increase in revenue to $4.3 billion for the first quarter, driven by strong growth in iGaming and sports betting.
Light & Wonder
Light & Wonder recorded a 2 per cent increase in revenue to $790 million for the first quarter, including double-digit growth in iGaming to $91 million.
Full House Resorts
Full House Resorts reported a narrowed net loss for the first quarter period of $8.15 million, as revenue declined marginally year-on-year to $74.42 million.
Genius Sports
Genius Sports reported a 30.5 per cent increase in revenue to $188.0 million for the first quarter, although higher expenses pushed the company to a net loss of $55.5 million.
Accel Entertainment
Accel Entertainment posted an 8.5 per cent increase in revenue to a record $351.56 million for the first quarter, buoyed by growth across all of its major markets except Montana.
Codere Online
Codere Online posted a 13 per cent increase in net gaming revenue to a record €64.4 million for the first quarter, driven by strong performances in Spain and Mexico.
Robinhood Markets
Robinhood Markets reported total net revenue of $1.01 billion for the first quarter, up by 15 per cent but with mixed results across its product range.
