Agreement will see Brightstar continue to provide retail technology to the state lottery until at least 2031
Brightstar Lottery has signed a five-year contract extension to deliver advanced retail technology to the Oregon Lottery.
Through its Brightstar Global Solutions subsidiary, Brightstar will upgrade the lottery’s central system and deploy new retail equipment. The new contract runs through May 2031.
“The Oregon Lottery’s trusted partnership with Brightstar has strengthened over the last 40-plus years as lottery technology has continued to evolve,” said Oregon Lottery director Mike Wells. “Through this extension with Brightstar and the deployment of upgraded central system features and modern hardware, we are advancing a more intelligent, responsive ecosystem that supports our retailers, engages players, and drives sustainable returns for Oregon.”
Scott Gunn, Brightstar chief operating officer for North America Lottery, added: “Brightstar’s contract extension with the Oregon Lottery reflects our shared commitment to innovation and delivering long-term value for Oregonians.

Shares in Brightstar Lottery plc (NYSE:NRSL) closed unchanged at $10.82 per share in New York Wednesday.
