Stockholm-listed online gaming operator Mr Green & Co has initiated legal proceedings in Austria as it looks to avoid being hit with a SEK100m tax bill in the country.
Austrian legislation implemented in 2011 requires that online casino operations be taxed at a rate of 40 per cent of sales (gross game win) which originate in the country.
