French betting and gaming operator PMU has reported a 2 per cent decline in turnover to €2.26bn for the third quarter of 2019.
Turnover from PMU’s core horse race betting operations fell by 0.1 per cent to €2.07bn, despite turnover from its home market of France climbing 0.5 per cent to €1.81bn, its second successive quarter of growth following recent struggles. This was offset by a 5 per cent year-on-year decline in international turnover to €258m.
