bet365 goes live in 8th US state with Indiana launch

Betting and gaming operator bet365 has gone live in Indiana through a partnership with French Lick Resort.

Indiana becomes the eighth state in which bet365 is available in the United States, following previous launches in Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Iowa and Colorado.

“At bet365, we don’t do ordinary, and as the home of the country’s first professional baseball game, ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing’, and a rich basketball history, neither does Indiana,” said a bet365 spokesperson. “New and eligible sports fans in the Hoosier State, renowned for their passion and loyalty, can enjoy the bet365 experience featuring market leading offerings like amazing Bet Boosts, the fastest In-Game product and unique Same Game Parlays.”

Indiana’s sports betting market generated total wagers of $503.1 million in December, an increase of 17 per cent year-on-year and the second month in a row with wagers above $500 million.

Mobile sports bets were up by 23 per cent to $487.0 million in the month, offsetting a 54 per cent decline in retail wagers to $16.1 million.
