The Gaming Intelligence Awards 2020 shortlist has been revealed with 888, Big Time Gaming, Gamesys, Red Tiger, The Stars Group and Scientific Games each nominated for three Awards.

888 Holdings and Gamesys Group head the Operator Awards, with three nominations apiece (and 888’s Dragonfish is also nominated for a Supplier Award). While Betsson, Flutter, GVC and Rank each win two nominations.

Betsson, 888 and Rank have been rewarded for a year of retrenchment, reform and smart management, while the consolidation kings at Flutter, Gamesys and GVC attracted the judges’ attention with their increasing array of leading brands performing strongly.

Big Time Gaming and Red Tiger both win three nominations in the Supplier Awards shortlist, with their popular innovations and commitment to excellence paying off in spades during 2019. Scientific Games also bags three nominations due to the continuing success of its sports betting and lottery teams. It also has an eye on the coveted Innovation of the Year category.

Relative newcomers such as Relax Gaming and Skywind Group will be delighted with two nominations apiece. The strength of the shortlist reveals an industry in rude health.

The Gaming Intelligence Awards 2020 winners will be revealed online on the opening day of ICE London on Tuesday February 5th, where the Awards will be presented.

You will also be able to pick up a special commemorative edition of GIQ Magazine at the show, which will feature a full list of the Awards winners and the industry’s most anticipated feature of the year – The Gaming Intelligence Hot 50, a celebration of the most innovative, inspiring and influential people working in the industry. The Hot 50 is a tribute to the people who make the industry tick – from behind-the-scenes unsung heroes to superstar CEOs.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our judges for their careful deliberation. We hope this is a fun task but we understand it is another responsibility above and beyond the normal call of duty. We could not have done it without you. Thank you all.

See you at ICE. Join us at stand ND10-C for a chat and to grab a copy of GIQ Magazine.
