London-listed gaming operator 888 Holdings has expanded its customer-facing offering with a range of new virtual sports games from Malta-based supplier Golden Race.

The operator’s 888casino and 888sport sites have gone live with Golden Race’s Beyond Virtuals portfolio, which includes 3D Virtual Football, 3D Horse Racing, Dog Racing, Speedway and Motorbike games, among others.

“We are incredibly excited about our working partnership with Golden Race ‘Beyond Virtuals’,” said 888 senior vice president of B2C Guy Cohen. “We strive to offer our customers an engaging portfolio of games and this company is at the forefront of virtual sports innovations.”

Golden Race founder and CEO Martin Wachter said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with such a prestigious brand as 888.

“We are certain that their clients will greatly enjoy our portfolio of highly realistic virtual sports and engaging number games, especially at this moment when they are looking for new products to satisfy the lack of sports events.”

The deal marks the latest operator launch for Golden Race’s virtual sports games, which have also gone live recently with Spain’s Retabet.es and Mondobets brands, as well as the Evona-powered Bettomax.cm in Cameroon and Zlatnik.me in Montenegro.

Shares in 888 Holdings plc (LSE:888) were trading down 2.02 per cent at 140.11 pence per share in London earlier Wednesday.
