Growth in the Latin America and Asia Pacific regions helped worldwide lottery sales increase by 5 per cent for the first nine months of 2013, according to the latest figures released by the World Lottery Association (WLA).
The WLA, the umbrella organisation for state lottery and gaming operators, said that growth in Latin America and Asia Pacific offset the performance of participating lotteries from Europe.
