Norwegian state-controlled gaming operator Norsk Tipping has warned the government that plans to allow five new lotteries to launch in the market could lead to an increase in problem gambling.
In its response to the government's public consultation on the proposed expansion of the lottery market, Norsk Tipping calls for much tighter controls on future licensees and says that the proposed sales limit of NOK300m per lottery is too high to maintain a stable market.
