PAM platform will support partner operators following launch of Ireland’s new remote betting licensing regime

iGaming platform provider Pragmatic Solutions has gone live in Ireland’s newly regulated online sports betting market.

The company is supporting operators following the introduction of Ireland’s new regulatory framework for remote betting, with licences issued by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) taking effect at the start of the month.

Pragmatic Solutions has completed the platform, front-end, compliance and integration work required to support Ireland-specific operations under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 and associated AML, responsible gambling and operational requirements.

“Ireland is an important regulated market for our clients, and this launch reflects our continued focus on supporting operators as they enter new jurisdictions with the platform stability, flexibility and compliance readiness required to operate with confidence,” said Pragmatic Solutions CEO Ashley Lang.

As Ireland’s regulatory framework continues to be introduced in phases, Pragmatic Solutions will continue to monitor future requirements, including the expected B2B supplier licensing regime, and support its clients as further obligations come into effect.

Applications for further licences including gaming, lotteries, B2B, charitable and philanthropic will be opened by the GRAI throughout 2027 and 2028.

“Regulated market entry depends on disciplined delivery across product, compliance, engineering and operations,” said Pragmatic Solutions chief operating officer Michael Boylan. “For Ireland, our focus was to ensure the platform, integrations and processes were configured to meet local requirements from the point of market opening.”
