This week has seen new game launches by Quickspin, Lightning Box and Spike Games, alongside platform integration deals for Relax Gaming, NetEnt, Wazdan and Betsoft Gaming.

Quickspin

Playtech-owned slots developer Quickspin has released its latest video slot Joker Strike.

The colourful 3x5 video slot springs into life when the Joker Strike feature is triggered by any win, wrapping an outer reel around the game grid where Joker symbols reveal the greatest rewards.

The game also debuts Quickspin’s new Hi Roller mode, which allows players to unlock additional features the more times they place a bet. A €20 bet guarantees a Wild symbol every five spins, while €30 guarantees a wild on both regular spins and the outer reel.

Players that increase their stake to €50 will receive additional wilds and Joker Strikes, as well as an extra marker on the outer wheel that boosts the chances of winning big.

“The all-new Hi Roller feature is a great example of the innovation we bring to the market, and we are sure the game will be a big hit all of our players and operating partners,” said Quickspin chief executive Daniel Lindberg. “Joker Strike is a feature-rich game that captures all of our flair for engaging gameplay and bonus content that is highly attuned to the modern video slots player.”

Lightning Box

Sydney-based slots specialist Lightning Box has launched its latest Africa-themed title with the release of Silver Lioness4x.

The 4x5 reel slot, which features 1,024 ways to win, is the supplier’s first game to go live on Microgaming’s Quickfire platform. It will be rolled out on an initial exclusive basis with operator LeoVegas.com, before being made available to all of Lightning Box’s partners in May.

The slot features a diamond scatter symbol that triggers the free spins round, in which players can multiply wins by up to 36 times, as well as stacked Lioness wins to unlock the game’s biggest rewards.

Wild Tree symbols in the base game lead to further excitement, substituting in any position on reels two, three and four, while Wild Cubs in the Bonus game make way to reveal individual multipliers of up to four times during the free spins round.

“Lightning Box consistently develops great content for our players, recognising the importance of mobile gaming and innovation,” said LeoVegas head of casino James Ford. “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to offer our players Silver Lioness4x first, we are certain that our audience will love the sequel to the wildly successful game, Silver Lion.”

Lightning Box managing director and co-founder Peter Causley said: “We are proud to launch Silver Lioness4x, a game that exhibits all our flair for combining first-class themes with exceptional underlying mathematics. Fans of its sister game Silver Lion are sure to love this timeless video slot, which has plenty to draw in new players and keep veteran slots fans engaged.”

Wazdan’s video poker, table games and more than 100 video slots, including Wild Guns and Dracula’s Castle, will be made available to Twelve40’s partners under the deal.

NetEnt

Stockholm-listed games developer NetEnt has launched its live casino games with German operator mybet.

mybet had been forced to withdraw its previous live casino offering following Novomatic’s withdrawal from the German market in January.

As mybet was exclusively cooperating with a Novomatic subsidiary at the time, the operator said it was unable to offer its customers any live casino games for several weeks.

“We’re really pleased that after the surprising service deactivation by our former contracting partner we soon managed to find a reliable partner in NetEnt,” said mybet CEO Markus Peuler. “After all, we’ve already been in business with NetEnt for many years now as we already have other games from this provider as part of our program.

“Now, for the first time, we have also included the NetEnt live casino in our entertainment program and can now make a live casino offering available to our customers in an even better, genuinely stylish casino atmosphere."

Relax Gaming

Casino games supplier Relax Gaming has agreed a partnership to its integrate content with Malta-licensed operator Twin Casino.

The deal will see Relax initially provide Twin with its latest table games, including roulette and blackjack.

“Our customer-first approach requires us to integrate the best and latest games content from the best suppliers around,” said Marcin Jablonski, chief brand officer at Twin Casino. “Relax Gaming’s new table games fit this bill perfectly and we look forward to our Twinners experiencing their quality gameplay.

“We hope to build on this relationship in future with more Relax content across different genres and types integrated and made available to our growing customer base.”

Relax Gaming chief executive Daniel Eskola commented: “Twin Casino continue to impress with a casino site that delivers the best games on the market to its thousands of players and we’re delighted to be a part of this.

“Our premium Roulette and Blackjack titles have been made available at extremely competitive rates so that we can learn each other’s business requirements and build on our relationship further down the line.”

Spike Games / FunFair Technologies

Games developer Spike Games has agreed a partnership to develop new slot titles for FunFair Technologies’ blockchain casino platform.

FunFair will work with Spike to create new versions of existing titles built entirely on the blockchain, starting with a revamp of Alice Cooper’s School’s Out for Summer, produced under license from Global Merchandising Services.

The developed games will be added to FunFair’s existing suite of blockchain-powered casino games, with the partnership designed to help refine the processes and APIs to enable game developers to easily integrate game content on the FunFair platform going forward.

The supplier’s business model also means that when the games go live, Spike Games will be paid instantly in FUN tokens at the end of every session.

“Spike have over 20 years’ experience developing high quality slot games and we are delighted to have partnered with them to lay the foundations for the next generation of blockchain games,” said Jez San, CEO of FunFair Technologies. “By incorporating our proprietary Fate Channel technology with their rich experience, we can now give players the gameplay experience they are used to, with all the benefits that blockchain brings.

Spike Games founder Rob Anderson added: “The potential of blockchain technology in the online gaming industry is enormous and we are very excited to be partnering with FunFair at such an exciting time in its development. We believe in giving players the best possible experience and FunFair’s technology will ensure we can provide fast, beautiful, secure games to existing and new crypto players across the world."
