DC moves towards prohibiting Lottery’s online launch

Washington DC’s Finance and Revenue Committee has voted narrowly in favour of the Lottery Amendment Repeal Act, which seeks to prohibit online gambling in the District of Columbia, but the approval of the full DC Council is still required to scupper the city’s online gaming initiative.
