Dutch gaming association Speelverantwoord has hit out at a proposal by the Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA) and the Peoples’ Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) to increase the country’s online gaming tax rate to 29 per cent, describing it as not in consumers’ interests.
