Following several years of decline, Greece’s gaming market reported its first year-on-year growth in five years as turnover increased by 7 per cent to €5.9bn in 2014.
Turnover rose from €5.5bn in 2013 to €5.9bn, the first year of growth since 2009, according to figures released by the Hellenic Gaming Commission. In that time, however, the market has contracted by a third from €8.7bn five years ago.
