The Stars Group has confirmed that its CrownBet and William Hill Australia gaming businesses will operate under the BetEasy brand in future.

CrownBet will be the first name to go as it is rebranded as BetEasy, followed by the transfer of all William Hill Australia accounts to the BetEasy brand.

CrownBet was originally launched as BetEasy before the operator established a joint venture with Crown Resorts in 2014, resulting in its rebranding to CrownBet in March 2015.

The business was acquired by the Stars Group’s for AUD$315m earlier this year, after which CrownBet acquired William Hill's Australian business for $234m.

The company said that BetEasy customers will be able to enjoy better offers and more markets and rewards, although William Hill Australia customers will lose access to lottery and keno betting products.

BetEasy will also be the only corporate bookmaker to provides access to the Sky Racing channels to its customers, with every Australian thoroughbred, harness and greyhound race streamed live.

CrownBet and William Hill account balances and bonus bets will be transferred to corresponding BetEasy accounts, as will any pending bets and accumulated reward points from both sites.
