Las Vegas-based sportsbook solutions provider Metric Gaming has struck a deal to supply Sun Bets, the iGaming brand of UK tabloid newspaper The Sun, with an end-to-end golf pricing solution.

The deal sees Metric provide Sun Bets, launched in partnership with Australia's Tabcorp in August, with pre-game pricing for all outright and match markets on golfing events, as well as its real-time SuperLive in-play product.

SuperLive allows players to bet on hole-by-hole markets within a golf match, with bets settled instantly.

The deal further expands the supplier's UK client base, where it already works with the likes of BoyleSports, Coral and Amaya’s BetStars.

It has also signed a deal to supply Gamesys with a full sportsbook platform, hiring a trio of executives and establishing a London office as it looks to further expand its business.

Metric commercial director Conall McSorely described Sun Bets as "a compelling new player" in the UK online sportsbook market, and a "very welcome addition" to his company's client base.

"We are thrilled to count Sun Bets among Metric’s ambassadors," he added.
