North Carolina is joining Vermont in becoming the latest US state to regulate sports betting after Governor Roy Cooper signed legislation into law on Wednesday.
Governor Cooper signed HB347 into law at a ceremony at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte yesterday, with legalised sports betting expected to begin early next year.
