Social gaming operator SciPlay has been named as an official partner of Major League Soccer club Austin FC.
The multi-year agreement will see SciPlay serve as the official free-to-play social gaming partner of the Texas-based team, and sponsor of three main areas of the club’s Q2 Stadium.
The company will sponsor the Sciplay Sports Bar located in the venue’s north building, as well as the SciPlay Gate and SciPlay North Parking Lot.
The partnership also gives SciPlay marquee digital billboard signage, stadium-wide LED branding and multiple digital, online, and live fan engagements and activations.
“Austin FC’s vibrant spirit and fiercely loyal fanbase resonate deeply with SciPlay and mirrors our own passion to win,” said Josh Wilson, CEO, SciPlay.
“This deal is a powerful connection, weaving our organizations deeper into the vibrant and diverse tapestry of Austin. We believe SciPlay’s sponsorship of Austin FC will be a true game-changer!”
Austin FC was founded in 2018 and competes in the Western Conference, finishing the 2023 MLS season in 12th place out of 14 Western Conference teams.
“We look forward to collaborating with SciPlay on a number of unique and innovative activations,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. “It will be terrific to work alongside another brand and employer that calls Austin home.”
