Stockholm-listed gaming operator Betsson AB has concluded its search for a new chief financial officer with the appointment of Martin Öhman to the role.

Öhman will join the company no later than September 1st to replace former CFO Kaaren Hilsen, who left the business in February.

He joins Betsson from Swedish vehicle retailer Upplands Motor, where he has served as CFO since 2016. Prior to that he served as finance director within the Handicare Group.

Pontus Lindwall, chief executive of Betsson AB, commented: “Martin’s broad financial and management experience and his M&A experiences are valuable assets for Betsson.”

Shares in Betsson AB (STO:BETS-B) were trading down marginally by 0.48 per cent at SEK73.oo per share in Stockholm Monday morning.
