Austrian gaming giant NOVOMATIC has refuted allegations of corruption over a supply deal struck with Romania’s National Lottery, Loteria Romana, as an investigation into how the agreement was reached begins.
Austrian Gaming Industries, a subsidiary company of NOVOMATIC, agreed a joint venture in October 2013 with Romania’s state lottery to supply 10,000 video lottery terminals, alongside support systems including a jackpot system, maintenance, services, spare parts and logistics.
