Online payment processor Optimal Payments has agreed a deal to serve as the official sponsor of Barclays Premier League side Crystal Palace FC, becoming the first payment business to sponsor a club in England’s top football division.
It will look to use the deal, which covers the 2014-15 and 2015-16 Premier League seasons, to raise the profile of its e-wallet NETELLER and Net+ Card products, with each logo appearing on Crystal Palace’s shirts.
