Online gaming operator Betway has announced British flat racing Champion jockey Silvestre de Sousa as a brand ambassador for the 2016 season.
The Brazilian-born 35-year-old jockey rode 132 winners last season, including the Group 1 Juddmonte International at York on 50/1 rank outsider Arabian Queen. In 2011, he was runner-up with 161 winners.
The deal means that Betway’s stable of ambassadors now boasts the champion rider from both codes of the sport – with Richard Johnson set [...]
