Online gaming operator Betway has paid out a potential world record amount to a UK customer who won an online slots jackpot playing Microgaming’s Mega Moolah game last week.
The 26-year old from Cheshire, named as Jon Heywood, won a £13,213,838.68 jackpot on Betway.com last Tuesday, having deposited a total of £30 and placing 25p bets.
Betway claimed that the amount is set to be a world record, using last week’s euro-to-pound exchange rage of €1.3531.
