Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to add Gamevy's range of interactive instant win and digital scratchcard games to its offering aimed at government lotteries.

This deal with Gamevy is Novomatic's second third-party partnership to be signed in recent months, following its agreement with Kambi Group to add the supplier's sports betting product to the NLS offering.

The tie up with Gamevy is designed to fill a gap in the market by offering lottery games designed specifically for online players, rather than just interactive variants of retail products.

"To date, most games suppliers have lavished their creative efforts on casino games – ignoring the broader lottery demographic and the pursuit of a more challenging customer base," Novomatic explained.

In contrast, Gamevy creates instant win products using skill and strategy elements which take their cue from social games and TV gameshows. These are designed to appeal to a younger demographic and have been designed specifically for mobile devices.

"NLS is delighted to be working with Gamevy," NLS chief executive Frank Cecchini commented. "We've watched the company develop their games and their capabilities over the last year and we like the way they think.

"Gamevy is passionate and focused on making high quality games that are notably different than anything else on the market today," he added. "The Gamevy team truly understands the lottery player and the new challenges which lotteries face as they struggle to stay relevant and exciting."
