An email promotion for Intellectual Property and Software's (IPS) Pink Casino brand has been banned by the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after customers were charged for a "free" scratchcard.

Customers were sent an email with the subject line offering one free game on a Deal or No Deal-branded scratchcard. The email text claimed that no deposit was required, adding that players simply had to use the code DEAL to opt in to the offer.
