Scientific Games’ OpenBet sports betting platform recorded a total of 37.4m bets during last weekend’s Aintree Grand National festival.
The supplier's sportsbook customers processed 239m account transactions over the three-day event, an 8 per cent increase over the previous year, with bets per minute climbing 25 per cent to 25,000.
