Portugal’s regulated online betting and gaming market has seen gross gaming revenue (GGR) increase by 29.5 per cent to €48.3m in the second quarter of 2019.
The biggest growth came from online casino as GGR increased by 50 per cent year-on-year to €25.3m. Slot games represented two-thirds of the total, with French roulette contributing 13 per cent of revenue. Cash poker and tournament poker accounted for a combined 11 per cent, and blackjack 8 per cent.
