Nothing, it seems, can derail the bet365 bandwagon, with the operator continuing to dominate the market as the leading online sportsbook. Its most recent financial results confirmed this, with annual turnover climbing 15 per cent to £1.57bn.

It generated an astounding £34.68bn in amounts wagered in its latest full year figures, of which in-play represented 75 per cent. The operator made £326.7m in net profit during the year – that’s more than some of the biggest UK operators generate in revenue.

Mobile is now the most popular betting medium for bet365 customers, with the channel delivering an overall increase in amounts wagered of 59 per cent and revenue growth of 66 per cent.

Continued investment in live streaming coverage saw the number of sporting events streamed exceed 60,000 in the period, double the previous year, while the company continued to offer attractive customer promotions including a Kick-Off Bonus at the start of the new football season, along with the World Cup Penalty Payback and numerous in-play offers.

Under the leadership of co-CEOs Denise and John Coates, bet365 keeps on growing. While Asia might yet hand bet365 its ‘Black Friday’ moment, it continues to rake it in. bet365 is unrivalled and it is a clear winner.
