Canadian horse racing operator Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) has appointed Jim Lawson as its new CEO, replacing Nick Eaves who left the company earlier this year.
Effective immediately, Lawson takes over as CEO having served as chairman of the company for the past three years.
Clay Horner replaces Lawson as WEG chairman, after holding the vice chairman role since 2006. His first order of business was to announce Lawson as CEO.
