Peter Cruddas, founder of spread betting firm CMC Markets, has been appointed co-treasurer of the UK Conservative Party.
Cruddace, a self made billionaire and one of the richest men in Britain, will work alongside Lord Stanley Fink to raise money for the Conservatives.
“I am delighted that Peter is joining as Co-Treasurer of the Conservative Party and I greatly look forward to working closely with him over the coming years,” said Lord Fink.
