Shares in Canada's Amaya Gaming Group were trading up more than 4 per cent in Toronto Monday on news that the company intends to sell its consumer-facing Maltese subsidiary WagerLogic for a cash consideration of CAD$70m.
WagerLogic operates a number of consumer gaming sites including InterPoker, InterCasino and VIPCasino under a Maltese gaming licence, and also owns two wholly-owned subsidiaries, CryptoLogic Operations Limited (Malta) and WagerLogic Alderney Limited.
