Mobile tipping service FanBet has been warned over the content of its promotional material after an advert promoting the product on a football news website was referred to the UK Advertising Standards Authority for depicting suicide.

The FanBet ad appeared on the site, including text in three different frames. The first two stated, “THE #1 WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR BETTING,” and “LEARN HOW TO WIN!” while the third showed the text “SAVE YOURSELF” and a silhouette of a man hanging from a rope by his neck.
