Illinois’s sports handle increased by 29 per cent year-on-year to $875.4 million in February, but was below $1 billion for the first time since September 2022.
Online wagering continued to dominate Illinois’s betting market and accounted for 97 per cent of turnover at $847.4 million, which was a 30 per cent rise. Retail betting grew by a more modest 4 per cent to $28.0 million.
