Australia’s national self-exclusion register for gambling has attracted more than 17,000 registrations since launch in August 2023.
According to the latest data from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), a total of 17,423 people made use of the self-exclusion service from launch through to the end of January 2024.
The BetStop register allows people to self-exclude from all licensed online and telephone wagering providers in Australia.
