The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has come out in opposition to the proposed merger of daily fantasy sports operators DraftKings and FanDuel, citing concerns about the combined entity’s market dominance.
The FTC has authorised legal action to block the merger after its investigation found that the merged company would control more than 90 per cent of the US paid daily fantasy contests market.
