Norway’s Ministry of Culture has stepped up its efforts to combat match-fixing with the establishment of a dedicated unit that will be attached to the country’s Gaming Authority (Lotteritilsynet).
The unit has been tasked with collecting relevant information and analysing evidence when suspicion arises that a sporting event has been manipulated.
