France’s regulated iGaming market recorded a 21 per cent increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) to €271m for the third quarter of 2018, following another strong performance from the sports betting vertical.
Turnover across all three product verticals rose 28 per cent year-on-year to €2.78bn, with sports betting recording the strongest growth due to the closing stages of the FIFA World Cup. This pushed GGR for the vertical up 40 per cent to €149m.
